Hungarian student has learned about the Russian champions’ keys to success

On the 25th of April the concert of the ensemble of music and dances ‘Ivan-da-Marya’ was held in the Culture and Arts Center of the Upper-Iset city district. It truly was the moment of glory for Hungarian student of IPAE Akosh Sekey.

The event was held within the international project ‘Making wishes come true’ of the master program ‘PR & Advertising: harmonization of cross-cultural communications’. The concert made Akosh’s wish to learn secrets of Russian choreography and sport champions’ success and to dance with the Russian professional ensemble. The student’s performance made an unforgettable impression on the visitors and deserved a long applause!

That is what the artistic director of the ‘Ivan-da-Marya’ ensemble Denis Kudryashov told us: Akosh has become a part of the ensemble very quickly. We did not have any difficulties in communications, but the few of them were because of learning the traditional Hungarian dances before. They differ from Russian dances: our dances are created mostly for performances on the stages, so it is difficult to unprepared person to just go and dance on the stage. On the other hand, every person can participate in mass Hungarian dances, regardless the dancing skills. Akosh was the source of a special positive energy on the repetitions; he completely enjoyed dancing with us! Moreover, we will not stop our partnership with this event. Who knows, maybe one time Akosh will invite us to such event in Hungary?..

These are the impressions of Akosh Sekey: I liked the repetitions a lot. Although they were difficult in the beginning, because I had to change the way I’m moving at all, because I have learned different type of dances before. Moreover, dancers in the ensemble pay much attention to the details, that’s why their performances are always fascinating! The result was worth all the efforts. Being on one stage with exemplary ensemble, wearing Russian traditional costume, holding the accordion in my hands at the same time made me feel like my dream has come true! It was unforgettable and amazing.

According to the audience, the whole performance was exciting, but Akosh’s dance was the brightest part of it. The talent and cheerfulness of the student impressed the visitors; they told us it was great to see how Hungarian student had learned all the details and secrets of Russian choreography and become the part of the Russian ensemble.

We made it possible to make the Hungarian student’s Russian dream come true, made the Russian culture much closer for foreign students of IPAE who visited the event and for another visitors.
